Nicole recently completed an MSc in Energy and Sustainable Building Design at De Montfort University. Her thesis focused on biophilic design and the impact of the built environment on human wellbeing. While studying for her BSc (Hons) in Architecture and Environmental Design at Sheffield Hallam University, she spent one semester on exchange at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur. She gained a unique perspective on the style of architecture in the country, experiencing the links between architecture, culture and the natural environment first hand.
Nicole’s interest and knowledge of energy and sustainable building design influences her work at PiP, improving the environmental performance of projects and providing guidance on the adoption of sustainable design practices, while creating designs sympathetic to their natural and cultural environment.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and wild camping.
